At SCOG, we believe the local church should have a part in helping our own community, as well as the rest of the world. We are currently proud to support:

Hope Box
Our hope box ministry provides food and personal care items for people in need in the local community. If you or someone you know needs assistance, contact the office by email at office@scog.com or call 815.729.1116.
Helping Hands
Our men's ministry offers assistance to our community for people who need help with small projects around the house. If you or someone you know needs assistance, contact the office by at office@scog.com or call 815.729.1116.
Corey and Abby Stocksdale
We are able to sponsor Corey and Abby Stocksdale as missionaries to Botswana. The Church of God in Botswana has invited the Stocksdales to help the church implement a child-sponsorship program through Children of Promise. Corey and Abby are also working to develop evangelism and community outreach programs to meet the social, spiritual, and financial needs of the community. Find out more here.
